During the holiday, I read the English picture book “little mouse Honey"to keep up with the rabbit in the third season of the fourth grade. It mainly talks about a little mouse named Honey. It has a "big" wish and wants to be a brave and helpful mouse. After many setbacks, it has not given up and realized its dream.

One day, Honey came to the brothers' barn and saw that the brothers were pulling corn again. Honey wanted to help. But he broke the bag, and his brother stopped him and told him to stay away from the corn bag. Honey went to the yard and saw his father cutting grass there. Honey wants to help. But the lawn mower was too heavy for Honey. His father stopped him and told him to stay away from the lawn mower. Honey came to the kitchen and saw his sisters washing dishes. Honey wanted to help again, but Honey broke the dishes. His sisters stopped him and told him to stay away from the sink.

Honey was very unhappy. His mother came over and asked him, "what's wrong?" Honey said: "I always make trouble. I can't do anything." Mother said: "you only need time to grow up. I believe you will become a helpful mouse one day. Mother pointed to a small flower bud and said, maybe you can try to take care of it. When it grows up, you will grow up too. Honey watered the flower buds every day to drive away pests. I don't know how long later, on a sunny morning, Honey shouted: "Wow, my flower buds are blooming. His mother praised him for doing well, he was very proud, and his wish came true.

This story tells us that to realize our dreams, we must persist in the end and cannot give up. I want to learn from Honey. On the road of realizing his dream, he ended in failure every time and suffered setbacks, but he did not give up and finally realized his dream. I want to learn this precious spirit. Persistence is the spirit that everyone should have. Honey in the story is an example for us to learn from!
